Green Chamber of Commerce To Feature Keynote Ahmed Rahim, CEO of Numi Organic Tea, “How To Successfully Build a Leading Brand in any Economy” Founding Chapter of National Federation to help Green Businesses Hosts Annual Celebration at Green Law Firm in Oakland, CA San Francisco, CA, Oct. 13, 2009 -- On November 5, 2009 at 5:30pm the Green Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its second year with an event titled “Building an Honest Economy”. The event is hosted by Wendel Rosen Black & Dean, a Green Chamber business member, and features an awards ceremony and speech by Ahmed Rahim, CEO and co-founder of Numi Organic Tea. In addition to promotional and educational opportunities, the Green Chamber of Commerce offers a strong voice in favor of environmental policies such as AB32, California’s Global Warming Solutions Act, which sets important emissions-reduction goals. The Green Chamber's membership includes businesses from various industries whose driven and energetic leaders are committed to supporting and doing business with companies and organizations that share their vision of a sustainable and thriving economy. Olivia Teter, Chief Creative Officer & Co-Founder of Vetrazzo, a Bay Area green manufacturer, has been involved with the Chamber since it was founded in 2007. “At Vetrazzo, our goal is to demonstrate a better way of doing business, evaluating success based on the triple bottom line: people, planet and profit.
