People Magazine and Major League Baseball will honor an individual who goes above and beyond in their community at the 2010 All Star game in Anaheim California in July. They are asking for your help to bring national attention to and further the mission of Pay It Forward Farm, a Tampa Bay community to benefit single moms and their children. San Francisco, CA – July 2-3, 2010 at the Roxie Theatre

The nonprofit San Francisco Frozen Film Festival presents an eclectic mix of social critique, pop culture madness, local art, and unique celebrity appearances.

The 2010 lineup celebrates the subcultures of dumpster diving, graffiti art, vinyl figure collecting (Frank Kozik), skateboarding, surfing, music, and animation. In addition, the festival will showcase films on Harvey Milk, global warming, breast cancer, medical marijuana, and the Bay Area prison system.

Step It Up wants to personally invite you and any friends to participate in our charity golf benefit on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Sweetwater Golf and Country Club in Longwood, FL to raise money for persons with injuries who can’t afford the ongoing costs of therapy. The event will also include a luncheon, silent auction, raffles and prizes.

Step it Up Recovery is in need of your airline miles!

Step it Up (SIU) would like to know if anyone has any airline miles which they are not using and would like to donate. This would greatly assist with travel as they have recently added a new hire that desperately needs to attend ProjectWalk for training.

I was blown away by the amazing and positive response -- I truly feel part of a wonderful "Attribute Magazine Family." I recently found out that Write On! is one of four grand-prize WINNERS!!!!! The prize is a generous grant for Write On! projects plus a three-day trip to NYC to visit the Glamour headquarters and be in a photo shoot that will be featured in a future issue of the magazine. This will be such wonderful exposure to help spread the word about Write On! I am absolutely thrilled. Also, we helped raise more than $5,000 for DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donation center."

The Third Gulf War is entering its 7th year. We actually never completely evacuated from the Second Gulf War so in all actuality, it is entering it's 19th year...amazing isn't it? Our troops are doing the most difficult job on the planet...

Did you know that many of our troops are unable to get the basics such as toothpaste and shampoo? Women troops are especially in need of personal care items. It's sad that these men and women are over there in extreme conditions, putting their lives on the line, and they aren't being taken care of. We don't have to support the war, but we should support these brave men and women.
